Starlink Installation
Still waiting on fibre? Starlink might be your answer.
Professional Starlink installation for homes and businesses across the West Midlands — no signal, no problem.

Rural broadband can be frustrating. Poor speeds, unreliable connections, and endless delays on upgrades — all while your work and life depend on getting online.
That’s where Starlink changes everything.
With satellite internet speeds of up to 200Mbps and wide UK coverage, Starlink is a game-changer for rural homes, farms, workshops and small businesses. And at Fix IT, we install it properly — so it works from day one.
What is Starlink?
Starlink is a satellite internet system developed by SpaceX. Unlike traditional providers that rely on cables and masts, Starlink uses a constellation of satellites to deliver fast, low-latency internet virtually anywhere.
It’s ideal for locations where:
Fibre and 4G just aren’t available
Standard broadband is too slow
You need a reliable backup for critical systems
The kit arrives pre-configured, but professional installation makes all the difference — especially if you want stable speeds, neat cabling, and proper roof mounting.
What’s included with our installation service?
We provide a full end-to-end setup, including:
Site assessment – We’ll check line of sight, signal strength and mounting options
Mounting hardware & installation – Roof or wall-mounted, with tidy cable routing and secure fixings
Router setup & Wi-Fi integration – We’ll get your internal network online and working with the Starlink connection
Performance testing – Signal, speed and stability checks to make sure it’s working reliably
Optional failover setup – Combine Starlink with 4G or your main broadband for redundancy
No guesswork. No climbing on your roof yourself. Just fast, professional setup by people who’ve done it before.
Who is it for?
Starlink installation is ideal for:
Rural homes struggling with slow or unreliable broadband
Farms, workshops and garages that need internet for systems and communications
Mobile setups like cabins or temporary offices
Backup internet for business continuity in case your main connection fails
If you’re outside city limits — Starlink may be the best internet option you’ve got.

FAQs
Do I need permission to install Starlink on my roof?
In most cases, no. Starlink dishes are considered permitted development for residential and business use. If you’re in a listed building or conservation area, we’ll advise you during the site check.
Can Starlink fully replace my broadband?
Yes — for many rural users, it’s the best (or only) option. Speeds are often faster than basic fibre or 4G in hard-to-reach areas. You can also run it alongside your main broadband as a backup.
Do I have to order the Starlink kit myself?
Yes — you’ll order direct from Starlink.com. We can help you choose the right package and make sure you don’t overpay for extras you don’t need.
Will I get a strong signal where I live?
Starlink’s coverage now includes most of the UK, but line of sight is key. We’ll test the signal during our site visit to confirm it’s a good fit before we install anything.
Can you set up Wi-Fi around my building too?
Absolutely. If you need better coverage indoors, we can add mesh Wi-Fi, network cabling or router upgrades as part of the install.
